Graduated in 2016.
Having only just completed my university course, I already embarked on my first important project, working as a freelancer on The Malvern Court Garden in London.

HOW MUCH DOES A TYPICAL PROJECT COST?
The cost will mainly depend on the size of the garden and the complexity of your needs. The quality of work and the materials is also very important. From the very beginning we can establish the budget that you would feel comfortable with and try to find a solution to meet your requirements and create the design you would like to see. The garden project can be estimated at roughly 10% of the value of the property.
HOW LONG DOES A PROJECT TAKE AND HOW SOON CAN WE START?
The garden projects can take weeks or months to complete – and that is after you have been on a waitlist. It also depends on the size of the property, the scope of works, and the difficulty. Each project is different. Once I start working on the design, it should not take more than a couple of weeks to finalise the drawings. After your feedback, I must also apply changes aligned with your needs. The standard design process takes about a month.
THE MOST COMMON MISTAKES WHEN DESIGNING THE GARDEN ON YOUR OWN
No space development. We often make these mistakes unknowingly and clutter the green space. This mistake is made in small gardens where the clutter makes the garden seem even smaller.
Not enough time. If we do not have enough time, we feel rushed and arrange quickly and inaccurately. Usually, the gardens never get finished when we keep postponing it for later.
Selection of inappropriate materials. We quite often pay attention to the appearance and the price, but overlook the quality. It is important to choose good quality materials that look good with the interior and are easy to clean.
No functionality. It is possible that we do not fully know how to use the potential of the garden and end up not using it smartly or in an appropriate dimension.
No specific vision and mixing styles. We often like many different things, but these elements are not always consistent with each other.
